Avamar: Linux back-ups compleet met uitzondering met Avtar Error linuxsecurity init("/mnt/xx") llistxattr() failed

Symptoms

Er is een nieuw CIFS-koppelpunt (Common Internet File System) toegevoegd aan de dataset.

Avamar Linux-back-ups compleet met uitzondering van Avtar-fouten. 

De volgende fouten worden waargenomen in de clientlogboeken (/usr/local/avamar/var/clientlogs/):

De fouten die uit deze partitie komen: /mnt/xxxxx/bulletin/

De uitvoer van de "df -h" geeft aan dat het koppelpunt een CIFS-share is //storage-xxxxx/xxxxx-xxxxx  8.0E     0  8.0E   0% /mnt/xxxxxxxxx

Cause

Het getroffen koppelpunt lijkt een CIFS-share te zijn die het avtar-probleem veroorzaakt.

Resolution

Voer een van de volgende stappen uit om dit probleem op te lossen:

1. De aanbevolen oplossing is om een back-up te maken van de CIFS-shares bij de bron in plaats van bij het koppelpunt:

  • Verwijder deze CIFS uit de dataset.
  • Maak een back-up van de data bij de bron en sluit deze uit van de back-uplijst op het systeem.

 

2. Voeg de volgende switch toe aan de avtar opdracht om de toegangscontrolelijsten (ACL) aan te pakken:

--ignoreacls
(Deze vlag negeert de ACL-beveiligingsdescriptoren)
