Symptoms



Patch and update tool failing during the patching process on the first node with error SetupJobQueue Failed with error : JID_*** FAILED - The specified URI is invalid. 

Repro:

1.) Login to the node via-iDRAC > Select Job Queue. Take note from screenshot below of the failed jobs.

2.) Screenshot below of the actual error from the P&U automation tool.

Cause

1.) The cause is due to OME password being too complex and iDRAC is not able to access the share.

Resolution

Change the administrator password on the OME VM and re-run the P&U automation tool.
