[PowerScale} F210/F710/F910 Reporting failed NVDIMM

Summary: PowerScale F210, F710 and F910 does not have an NVDIMM, however, the node reports NVDIMM issues.

Symptoms

Isi event commands report messages similar to the following:

# isi event list | grep NVDIMM
842  2/15 22:24 2/16 01:03 HW_NVRAM_NVDIMM_FAILED           1    2       critical
# isi event events list | grep NVDIMM
1.8195  2/16 01:03 C    1    842            NVDIMM in DIMM slot A33 has failed in the chassis (xxxxxxxx). Until the NVDIMM is replaced, setting the node to read-only.          

Or during the boot sequence, the boot log indicates the following journal error:

Test Journal exited with error - NVDIMM is persistent
NVDIMM armed for persistent writes
NVDIMM Battery 1 is healthy
NVDIMM A33 state: FAILED
NVDIMM B33 state: FAILED
The following NVDIMM(s) are unhealthy: A33, B33

However, the PowerScale F210/F710 nodes do not have an NVDIMM.

Cause

OneFS for F210/F710/F910 hardware reports errors on the Software Defined Persistent Memory (SDPM) device as an NVDIMM. This includes the battery backup unit for the node:
 

NVDIMM Battery 1 is healthy
