Resolution
To confirm if this test is a false positive or not:
- Collect a support assist log, also called TSR, for the node, see: PowerEdge: Export a SupportAssist Collection Using iDRAC UI or racadm cmd
- Clear system event log, see: PowerEdge: How to View or Clear the System event log
- Reset the iDRAC, see: PowerEdge: How to Reset the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)
Performing an iDRAC reset forces the iDRAC to re-inventory the controller and disk health status. Wait 5-10 minutes after the reset and check the remaining disk endurance from the physical disk page. If the error persists, contact support and provide the TSR collected in step 1: Contact Technical Support | Dell US
Note: If the event code “VXR508SSD0001: Write Endurance of SSD is below the threshold value” is observed, it may be identified as a false positive alert and can be safely ignored.
