Symptoms

Any workflow started in the Avinstaller may get stuck at 0% on the step, "Project xyz: region started with task 1 (1)."

The workflow log (/data01/avamar/repo/temp/<package>/tmp/workflow.log) shows the following lines:

Cause

The installed emc-tools and emc-ruby RPMs are not working correctly.

Confirm that the emc-tools and emc-ruby  packages are installed:
