Cloud Snapshot Manager: How To Create an IAM Authenticated Cloud Account

Instructions
Starting process:
- Sign in to the Dell Cloud Snapshot Manager console.
- Select Cloud Accounts on the left.
- Click the New Cloud Account button.
- Select IAM Authentication (credential-based).
- Enter:
- Display Name - This can be any friendly, recognizable name for the cloud account
- Description - This can be any short description of the cloud account
- Access Key ID - Available in the AWS Management Console
- Secret Access Key - Available in the AWS Management Console
- Click the Save button.
Instructions for gathering the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key:
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console (External Link)
- Select Services in the upper left drop-down menu.
- Select IAM under Security, Identity, and Compliance.
- Select Users on the left.
- Select Add user button.
- Enter username.
- Choose Programmatic access as Access type.
- Click the Next: Permissions button
- Select Attach existing policies directly to set permissions for the user.
- Check the permissions policy created for minimal permissions.
- Click the Next: Review button.
- Click the Create user button.
- Select the Show link under the Secret access key column.
- Copy and paste the Access key ID and Secret access key into step 5 for the above instructions for the Cloud Snapshot Manager.
