Avamar VMware 映像備份失敗，並出現下列錯誤：

avvcbimage Error <14618>: Problem logging into URL https://vcenter_hostname:443/sdk  with user 'vc_username'

Cause

由於代理和 vCenter 之間的名稱解析問題，這通常發生在新設定或新增代理至環境中時。

代理無法根據錯誤記錄中的此項目解析 VC：

Resolution

如果映像備份失敗，請遵循以下幾點：
  • 作為一種良好做法：請務必使用完整網域名稱 （FQDN），將 vCenter 新增至 Avamar。
  • 檢查代理 /etc/resolv.conf 檔，並確保“搜索”和“名稱伺服器”的條目正確。
  • 請確定代理在網域名稱伺服器 （DNS） 中具有下列完整項目：
    • 「地址記錄 （以下稱「A 記錄」）
    • 「指標記錄 （以下稱「PTR 記錄」）
    • “規範名稱記錄”（“CNAME 記錄”）
  • 使用 nslookup 使用短名稱、長名稱和 IP 位址解析 vCenter 的公用程式。
  • 驗證並確認 /etc/hosts 代理上的檔案會填入正確的 VC 主機 IP 位址、長名稱和短名稱。
