Symptoms

Un file non valido denominato "ls" è stato creato per errore in /var/lib/docker/devicemapper/metadata.

L'SP entra in un riavvio continuo con errori eVE in /EMC/C4Core/log/start_c4.log (o /mnt/ssdroot/EMC/C4Core/log/start_c4.log se l'SP è in modalità di servizio):

Cause

In base a /EMC/CEM/log/eVE/eVE_startup.log sull'SP, Docker non è in esecuzione:

Mon Aug  7 21:49:05 2017 /EMC/Platform/bin/eVE.pl: Cannot proceed. Docker service is not running
Mon Aug  7 21:49:05 2017 /EMC/Platform/bin/eVE.pl: Cannot proceed. Docker service is not running
Mon Aug  7 21:49:06 2017 /EMC/Platform/bin/eVE.pl: Cannot proceed. Docker service is not running

In base a /var/log/messages, il servizio Docker non è riuscito perché non è stato possibile caricare il file di dispositivo "ls":

Resolution

  1. Rimuovere il file problematico in /var/lib/docker/devicemapper/metadata:

    rm -f /var/lib/docker/devicemapper/metadata/ls

  2. Cancellare il contatore di salvataggio dell'avvio:

    svc_rescue_state -c

  3. Riavviare l'SP.

    svc_shutdown -r
Nota: Anche la ricreazione dell'immagine dell'SP può risolvere questo problema.
