VM-back-uplogboeken zijn te vinden onder:

  • NetWorker-server:
    • Linux: /nsr/logs/policy/POLICY_NAME/WORKFLOW_NAME
    • Windows (standaard): C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\logs\policy\POLICY_NAME\WORKFLOW_NAME
      OPMERKING: De beleidslogboeken van de NetWorker-server volgen de jobsdb Retentie (standaard 72 uur). Nadat de bewaarperiode is verstreken, worden de logboeken verwijderd. Back-uplogboeken op het vProxy-apparaat worden niet beïnvloed door de jobsdb Retentie.
  • vProxy Appliance: /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vbackupd/DATE

Cause

De vProxy-back-upworkflow schakelt de storagemigratie voor de virtuele machine uit aan het begin van de back-up en schakelt deze in zodra deze is voltooid. De geconfigureerde VMware View-gebruikersrol (NSR Hypervisor) heeft niet voldoende machtigingen om storagemigratie in of uit te schakelen.

Resolution

De vereiste minimale machtigingen voor gebruikersrollen worden beschreven in het gedeelte 'Minimaal vereiste vCenter user account privileges' van de NetWorker VMware Integration Guide. NetWorker-documentatie is beschikbaar via: Support voor NetWorker | Handleidingen en documenten (U moet zich aanmelden met uw Dell Support account).

Gebruik de ProxyHC hulpprogramma voor het identificeren van ontbrekende machtigingen voor het vCenter-gebruikersaccount dat door NetWorker wordt gebruikt:

De syntaxis voor het bevestigen van machtigingen is:  
./ProxyHC perm
