Alert ID XMS_JBOD_CONTROLLER_FRU_STATE_DISCONNECTED
Alert Text Bus <bus_num> enclosure <encl_num> <side A/B> is disconnected.
Error Code (0x00308204)
Resolution Cause: An expansion enclosure controller is disconnected.
Solution
  1. This alert may be transient if a PowerStoreOS upgrade was recently completed. Check the event logs for symptom code 0x0030d902 or 0x00308302 to indicate an expansion enclosure update is or was performed. If confirmed, this alert clears on its own after the expansion enclosure updates complete.
  2. Verify over visual inspection that the LCC is properly inserted and the cables are properly attached.
  3. If the issue persists, contact Dell Support for further assistance.

Alert ID XMS_JBOD_CONTROLLER_FRU_STATE_FAILED
Alert Text Bus <bus_num> enclosure <encl_num> <side A/B> has failed.
Error Code (0x00308203)
Resolution Cause: An expansion enclosure controller is failed.
Solution
  1. This alert may be transient if a PowerStoreOS upgrade was recently completed. Check the event logs for symptom code 0x0030d902 or 0x00308302 to indicate an expansion enclosure update is or was performed. If confirmed, this alert clears on its own after the expansion enclosure updates complete.
  2. Verify over visual inspection that the LCC is properly inserted.
  3. If the issue persists, contact Dell Support for further assistance.

Alert ID XMS_JBOD_CONTROLLER_HEALTH_LEVEL_LEVEL_6_CRITICAL
Alert Text Bus <bus_num> Enclosure <encl_num> <side A/B> health status is faulty. Immediate attention is required.
Error Code (0x00308410)
Resolution Cause: An expansion enclosure controller has a Critical health level fault.
Solution
  1. This alert may be transient if a PowerStoreOS upgrade was recently completed. Check the event logs for symptom code 0x0030d902 or 0x00308302 to indicate an expansion enclosure update is or was performed. If confirmed, this alert clears on its own after the expansion enclosure updates complete.
