PowerEdge: Import eller rydning af fremmede konfigurationer på PERC-controllere

Instructions

  • RAID-systemstatus vil blive forringet, hvis en enkelt disk med to diske (afhængigt af systemtypen) er i en fremmed konfiguration.

  • RAID-systemstatus ville mislykkes, hvis mere end to diske er i en fremmed konfiguration (afhængigt af systemtypen) 

Eksempler:

  1. RAID 5-status forringes på grund af én disk i fremmed konfigurationstilstand.

  2. RAID 5 vises mislykket på grund af mere end to diske i en fremmed konfigurationstilstand.

  3. RAID 6-visning mislykkedes på grund af mere end tre diske i en fremmed konfigurationstilstand.

  4. RAID 10 viser forringet på grund af en enkelt disk i hvert span pare, der går ind i en fremmed konfiguration.

  5. RAID 10 viser mislykket tilstand på grund af to diske i et enkelt tidsrum, der går ind i en fremmed konfiguration

 


Reason:

PERC-controllerens konfiguration af harddisken er enten ukendt eller inkonsistent med dens aktuelle konfiguration.

 


Trin til fejlfinding:

Hvis flere diske har en fremmed konfiguration, og systemet (som i RAID 5) ikke fungerer, er systemet i en fejlbehæftet tilstand. Prøv at udføre følgende trin:

  1. Kontroller controlleren eller LCC-loggen (Lifecycle Controller) for at se, hvilken disk der sidst blev indsat i fremmed disk, men kontroller tidsstemplerne i logfilernes ether.
  2. Fjern de første diske, der gik ind i en fremmed konfiguration, og efterlad dem på den sidste disk, der gik ind i en fremmed konfiguration, fordi den har de nyeste data.
  3. Importer disken.
  4. Hvis disken importerer
    1. Arrayet går i en forringet tilstand.
    2. Installer den første disk, der blev fjernet, og importer den.
  5. Hvis disken ikke importeres, skal du rydde den fremmede konfiguration og angive den som en aktiv redundant enhed, så den kan genopbygges i RAID-arrayet.
Bemærk: Hvis flere systemer, der bruger de samme harddiske, indeholder fremmede konfigurationer, skal handlingen baseres på alle systemerne. Hvis et system fungerer, og et andet system IKKE fungerer, skal den fremmede konfiguration importeres.
