「VPLEX：2つのVPLEXローカル システム間でvMotionを実行する方法

VPLEXは、独立したVPLEXクラスター間でのXCOPYをサポートしていません。
VPLEXは2つのクラスター間でXCOPYをサポートしますが、Metro構成でのみサポートします。 

この問題を解決するには、次の手順に従います。

  1. VPLEX上の影響を受けるストレージ ビューでXCOPYを無効にします。
  2. ESXiホストで高速ロックを有効にします。

対処方法:

  1. 影響を受けるストレージビューで、次のコマンドを使用してXCOPYを無効にします。
    • ディレクトリの変更 (cd)を影響を受けるstorage-viewsに追加し、次のコマンドを実行します。
VPlexcli:/clusters/cluster-id/exports/storage-views/STORAGE-VIEW-NAME> set xcopy-enabled false


ストレージビューでXCOPYが無効になっているはずです。

  1. 影響を受けるESXiホストで、高速ロックは有効化しますが、高速移動(XCOPY)は無効化します。 

VMware vStorage APIアレイ統合(VAAI)のすべてを無効にするのではなく、ユーザーはESXiホストでサポートされていないプリミティブを選択的に無効にすることができます
変更についてより具体的に説明するには、次の手順を実行します。

HardwareAcceleratedLocking = OK; enable (atomic test and set)
HardwareAcceleratedMove = Not OK; leave disabled (clone blocks, full copy, xcopy)
HardwareAcceleratedInit = OK; enable (zero blocks, write same)
