Symptoms

 

VPlex-asennuskomento ilmoittaa tarkistussummavirheen virheellisesti, vaikka paketti on oikea. 

service@vplex-c1:~> VPlex-MS-installer --omit-manifest-check -v VPlex.x.x.x-management-server-package.tar 
The checksums of the package file do not match. 

 

Cause

RPM-hakemistolla on väärät käyttöoikeudet. 
 

  • Tarkista RPMS-hakemiston käyttöoikeudet. Hakemisto on yllättäen root-käyttäjän omistuksessa. 

service@vplex-c1:~> ls -lFd /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms 
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19498 Nov 20 09:28 /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms/ 

  • RPM-hakemiston tulee olla omistaja palvelun käyttäjän mukaan.

 

Resolution

  • RPM-hakemiston poistaminen ratkaisee ongelman, koska VPlex-Installer-komento luo hakemiston uudelleen oikeilla oikeuksilla.
