Symptoms

 

VPlex installerコマンドが、正しいパッケージがあるにもかかわらず、チェックサム エラーを誤って報告します。 

service@vplex-c1:~> VPlex-MS-installer --omit-manifest-check -v VPlex.x.x.x-management-server-package.tar 
The checksums of the package file do not match. 

 

Cause

RPMディレクトリーの権限が間違っています。 
 

  • RPMディレクトリーの権限を確認します。ディレクトリーが予期せずrootユーザーによって所有されています。 

service@vplex-c1:~> ls -lFd /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms 
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19498 Nov 20 09:28 /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms/ 

  • RPMディレクトリーの所有者はサービス ユーザーである必要があります。

 

Resolution

  • RPMディレクトリーを削除すると、VPlex-Installerコマンドによって正しい権限でディレクトリーが再作成されるため、問題が解決します。
