Symptoms

 

VPlex 설치 프로그램 명령이 올바른 패키지가 있음에도 불구하고 체크섬 오류를 잘못 보고합니다. 

service@vplex-c1:~> VPlex-MS-installer --omit-manifest-check -v VPlex.x.x.x-management-server-package.tar 
The checksums of the package file do not match. 

 

Cause

RPM 디렉토리에 잘못된 권한이 있습니다. 
 

  • RPM 디렉토리 사용 권한을 확인합니다. 예기치 않게 루트 사용자가 디렉토리를 소유합니다. 

service@vplex-c1:~> ls -lFd /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms 
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19498 Nov 20 09:28 /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms/ 

  • RPM 디렉토리는 서비스 사용자가 소유자여야 합니다.

 

Resolution

  • RPM 디렉토리를 제거하면 VPlex-Installer 명령이 올바른 권한으로 디렉토리를 다시 생성하므로 문제가 해결됩니다.
