Symptoms

 

Polecenie instalatora VPlex nieprawidłowo zgłasza błąd sumy kontrolnej pomimo posiadania prawidłowego pakietu. 

service@vplex-c1:~> VPlex-MS-installer --omit-manifest-check -v VPlex.x.x.x-management-server-package.tar 
The checksums of the package file do not match. 

 

Cause

Katalog RPM ma nieprawidłowe uprawnienia. 
 

  • Sprawdź uprawnienia katalogu RPM. Katalog nieoczekiwanie staje się własnością użytkownika root. 

service@vplex-c1:~> ls -lFd /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms 
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19498 Nov 20 09:28 /tmp/VPlexInstallPackages/rpms/ 

  • Katalog RPM powinien być własnością użytkownika usługi.

 

Resolution

  • Usunięcie katalogu RPMs rozwiąże problem, ponieważ polecenie VPlex-Installer ponownie utworzy katalog z poprawnymi uprawnieniami.
