Symptoms

iDRAC event PSU8529 occurs and RED alarm VXR500PSU8529 presents in vCenter portal.

Cause

The power supply unit (PSU) identified in the message was turned off because the temperature exceeded the high temperature threshold in the unit.

Resolution

Manually remove and reinstall the Power Supply Unit (PSU) or disconnect the input power.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. The PSU is powered on.
