Symptoms
When a user attempts to create volume when there is not enough space this issue can occur. If PowerFlex Manager does not block the volume creation, it fails in PowerFlex as expected. The new volumes are seen in PowerFlex Manager in an error state.
Cause
PowerFlex Manager does not check the available space correctly during the volume addition.
Resolution
Remove the service and re-add it as an existing service.
The failed volume does not exist in PowerFlex so it will not be added back.
Additional Information
Future resolution is to introduce a feature in PFxM to be able to delete failed Volumes.
