Symptoms

Forsøg på at knytte en ekstern ISO ved hjælp af IPv6 til en webserver, der kører på en ikke-standardport http/80 https/443 mislykkes på Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9), når idrac.virtualconsole.plugintype er indstillet til eHTML5.

Cause

URL-portene er hårdkodede http/80 og https/443 til IPv6, da eHTML5-implementeringen ikke skelner mellem ':'er i IPv6-adresse vs. ':' for serverporten i URL'en. 

Resolution

Dell har løst problemet med eHTML5-pluginet i juni 2022-versionen 5.10.30.00.

Løsning
Skift idrac.virtualconsole.plugintype til HTML5.

$ racadm help idrac.virtualconsole.plugintype
PluginType                -- Specifies the plugin type to use when running Virtual Console from a browser.
Usage                     -- 0-ActiveX; 1-Java; 2-HTML5; 3-eHTML5; Default - 3
Required License          -- Virtual Console
Dependency                -- While there are active Virtual Console, Virtual Media or Remote File Share sessions, the value cannot be changed from ActiveX/Java/HTML5 to eHTML5 or from eHTML5 to ActiveX/Java/HTML5.

$ racadm set idrac.virtualconsole.plugintype 2

$ racadm remoteimage -c -l http://[fd00:11::249]:8080/repo/w10-pe-new.iso
