Symptoms

Eine VM verfügt beispielsweise über die folgende Festplattenkonfiguration und -nutzung:

HINWEIS: Nahezu der gesamte bereitgestellte Speicherplatz einiger Festplatten wird als geänderte Byte berechnet, obwohl in einigen Fällen mehr als 50 % freier Speicherplatz vorhanden sind.

 

Die VM-Backupsitzungsprotokolle finden Sie auf dem vProxy unter:

  • /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vbackupd/date

 

HINWEIS: VM-Backupsitzungsprotokolle finden Sie auch auf dem NetWorker-Server. Die NetWorker-Serverprotokolle unterliegen jedoch dem jobsdb retention (72 Stunden, Standard). Das bedeutet, dass 72 Stunden nach Abschluss die Sitzungsprotokolle vom Server entfernt werden. Die vProxy-Protokolle werden nicht beeinflusst durch jobsdb retention.

 

  • Linux:/nsr/logs/policy/PolicyName/WorkflowName/
  • Windows: ..\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\logs\policy\PolicyName\WorkflowName

Cause

Dieses Problem tritt außerhalb von NetWorker auf. Inkrementelle Backups werden mithilfe von VMware Change Block Tracking (CBT) berechnet.

Resolution

Setzen Sie Change Block Tracking (CBT) für die VMs zurück, bei denen dieses Problem auftritt.

Es wird empfohlen, sich an den VMware-Support zu wenden, wenn Unterstützung bei diesem Verfahren erforderlich ist, und alle Probleme zu untersuchen, die bei CBT beobachtet wurden.
