Reported vulnerability with Nessus scan for Unity O.E version 5.2.0.0.5.173: "Unix Operating System Unsupported Version Detection: SUSE Linux Enterprise 15.0 support ended on 2019-12-31 (end of regular support) / 2022-12-31 (LTSS option). Upgrade to SUSE Linux Enterprise 12.5 / 15.1."


Cause

Unity with OE version - 5.2.0.0.5.173 is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15.

Resolution

The SUSE version is an integrated part of the Unity operating system. So the customer can ignore the alert or allowlist from the scanning software.
And it should not cause any issues to Unity.
