En Unisphere para PowerMax 10.x que administra un arreglo PowerMaxOS 10 (6079), el intento de hacer "ping a la IP remota" en las interfaces RE IP arroja lo siguiente:

Los grupos de SRDF administrados por las interfaces IP de RE funcionan correctamente y se replican sin problemas.
Cause
Unisphere para PowerMax 10.0.x envía el protocolo incorrecto en la solicitud de API para la operación de ping.
Resolution
Este problema se resuelve con Unisphere para PowerMAX versión 10.1.x.
Como solución alternativa (con Unisphere para las versiones 10.0.x de PowerMax), si se requiere la confirmación de la función "Ping Remote IP", utilice el siguiente comando de SYMCLI:
symsan -sid <sid> -dir <dir> -port <port> ping -protocol rdf_gige -remote_ip_address <IPAddress>
