Solutions Enabler 10.x symclone action using logical device name fails with :
Same command runs successfully with Solutions Enabler 9.x.
The requested feature is not supported for this microcode or SYMAPI version (for example command like : symclone -sid <sid> -g <dg> create DEV001 sym ld TGT001 -precopy -diff).
Same command runs successfully with Solutions Enabler 9.x.
Cause
Using Logical device names with symrdf, symmir and symclone has been deprecated in version 10.x and above.

Resolution
Solutions Enabler versions upto 9.2.x tolerated using Logical device name with the SYM ld syntax.
Solutions Enabler 10.x no longer support the SYM ld syntax.
The same action command can be executed using the -f <filename> facility to define the source and target devices of the operation, example :
