Symptoms

  • 某些虛擬機器 （VM） 的 NetWorker VMware Protection （NVP） vProxy VM 備份會間歇性失敗。
  • VM 備份工作階段記錄顯示：

vProxy： /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vbackupd/DATE 
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS ERROR:  [13628] [140370599835392] ddp_close_file() failed, Err: 5029-A previous operation on this file has failed and no further APIs can be processed
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS ERROR:  ddpg_close_file (1547): Closing file with fd=FILE_HANDLE# failed, error=5029
  • vProxy 已升級至 4.3.0-54 或更新的 4.3.0-x。
  • Data Domain 作業系統為 7.X

Cause

已向 NetWorker 和 Data Domain 工程部門提出此問題。DDBOOST 程式庫 7.13.0.0-1072298 有瑕疵。

Resolution

Data Domain 程式碼修正已在 Data Domain OS 8.0.0 及更新版本中發佈。
隨 NetWorker 19.11 一起發佈的版本 4.4.0-3 中發佈了 vProxy 程式碼修正。

將 vProxy 裝置升級至 4.4.0-3 及更新版本：
NVP vProxy：如何使用 nsrvproxy_mgmt

升級 NVP vProxy 裝置DD OS 也應升級至 8.0.x 版。

因應措施：

將 vProxy 替換為 4.3.0-47 vProxy。
4.3.0-47 使用 DDBOOST 程式庫 7.12.0.0-1052569，此版本不會出現此問題。
