Symptoms

まれにですが、AMD Milan CPU(7xx3)を使用しているハイパーバイザー クラスター内のPowerEdgeサーバーで、クラスター全体でMCEがランダムに、断続的に発生することがあります。

影響を受けるPowerEdgeサーバーは次のとおりです。

  • R7525
  • R6525
  • R7515
  • R6515

Cause

特定のCPU命令が更新されない。

Resolution

この問題に対処するには、次の2つの手順を実行する必要があります。

  1. BIOSアップデート
    • BIOS 2.19.0へのアップグレード
  2. アップデート後にBIOSの設定が変更されます。
    1. F2 BIOSを起動します。
    2. [System BIOS Settings]>[Processor Settings]>設定を有効にします AMD IC構成 ITバイパスの無効化
    3. 変更を保存して再起動します。

このBIOS設定を変更したサーバーでは、一般的な仮想化環境でパフォーマンスが約0.5%から1%のわずかな低下を示す場合があります。
