PowerEdge：16G 平台 AC 復原功能未如預期運作

Symptoms

  • 若 AC Power Recovery 設為 Off （關閉），斷電及恢復後的預期行為是讓系統保持關閉電源。但結果是系統在 AC 電源恢復後會開啟電源。
  • 當 AC Power Recovery 設為 Last 時，如果系統已關閉電源 （最後一個狀態），然後遇到交流電源中斷和恢復的情況，系統會開啟電源，而非保持關閉狀態。

受影響的 PowerEdge 伺服器：
PowerEdge R660
， PowerEdge R660xs
， PowerEdge R760
， PowerEdge R760xa
， PowerEdge R760xd2
， PowerEdge R760xs

Cause

BIOS 版本 2.2.7 和 2.2.8 推出了一項變更，從 BIOS 移除 AC 復原預設值，並將所有權轉移給 BMC。此修改會中斷 NVRAM 屬性同步邏輯。

從 BIOS 2.3.5 版開始，如果尚未初始化，BIOS 會將智慧型平台管理介面 （IPMI） 設定同步回 NVRAM。

Resolution

  • 將 BIOS 更新至 2.3.5 版或更新版本。

針對需要將 BIOS 維持在版本 2.2.7 或 2.2.8 的特定專案：

  1. 將 BIOS 更新至 2.3.5 版或更新版本。
  2. 將 BIOS 回復至 2.2.7 或 2.2.8 版。

注意：BIOS 更新至 2.3.5 版或更新版本後，相關的 NVRAM 屬性便會成功初始化。將 BIOS 降級至 2.2.7 或 2.2.8 版 並 不會清除這些屬性，因為它們仍會保留在 NVRAM 中。
