Symptoms

O equipamento PowerProtect Data Manager é usado para proteger o ambiente vSphere com a solução VM Direct Engine. A implementação do VM Direct Engine em um cluster de zona desmilitarizada (DMZ) falha durante a fase de inicialização. O status do trabalho do sistema mostra:

ProxySession unsuccessful during initialization. Unable to deploy and verify the vProxy my-proxy.my-domain.com. Unable to query vProxy status after 'Deploy'. Request unsuccessful. Unable to connect to External vproxy 'my-proxy.my-domain.com' on port '9090', the host service is not running.

Cause

O equipamento PowerProtect não tem acesso ao VM Direct Engine pela porta 9090.

Resolution

O ambiente de firewall ou sistema de rede deve ser configurado para permitir que o equipamento PowerProtect se comunique com o VM Direct Engine pelas portas 22 e 9090.
