Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager-enheten används för att skydda vSphere-miljön med VM Direct Engine-lösningen. Distributionen av VM Direct Engine i ett DMZ-kluster (demilitariserad zon) misslyckas under initieringsfasen. Status för systemuppgift visar:

ProxySession unsuccessful during initialization. Unable to deploy and verify the vProxy my-proxy.my-domain.com. Unable to query vProxy status after 'Deploy'. Request unsuccessful. Unable to connect to External vproxy 'my-proxy.my-domain.com' on port '9090', the host service is not running.

Cause

PowerProtect-enheten har inte åtkomst till VM Direct Engine över port 9090.

Resolution

Miljöns brandvägg eller nätverk måste konfigureras så att PowerProtect-enheten kan kommunicera med VM Direct Engine via portarna 22 och 9090.
