Symptoms

 

Se un sistema è interessato, è possibile osservare quanto segue:
  • NIC non visualizzata nei menu di preavvio UEFI
  • Driver UEFI della scheda di rete non caricato in Secure Boot
  • Avvisi di avvio o arresto correlati alla convalida della firma della ROM facoltativa
  • Eventi o registri che mostrano la firma del driver non attendibile
  • Disponibilità delle schede di rete che cambia tra gli avvii sulle piattaforme meno recenti

Questi sintomi non verranno visualizzati sui sistemi 17G, che convalidano già CA 2023.

Cause

Questo comportamento si verifica perché NVIDIA ha cambiato il certificato di firma del driver UEFI da:

  • Da Microsoft UEFI CA 2011 a Microsoft UEFI CA 2023

Le piattaforme PowerEdge precedenti potrebbero non includere ancora CA 2023 nel database di affidabilità Secure Boot, a meno che non sia stato applicato l'aggiornamento del BIOS di dicembre 2025 .

In questi casi, il sistema continua a considerare attendibile solo CA 2011 e rifiuta il driver NVIDIA UEFI più recente in Secure Boot.

Resolution

Determinare la generazione del sistema.

  • 17G: Nessuna azione richiesta; CA 2023 è affidabile.
  • 15 G/16 G/versioni successive: Procedi di seguito.

Controllare la versione del BIOS.

  • Assicurarsi che il sistema esegua il BIOS di dicembre 2025 o una versione successiva, che include il supporto del certificato CA 2023.
    • 14a generazione: 2.25.0
    • 15 G: 1.19.2
    • 16G: 2.8.2
