Instructions
All required software and firmware (FW) for the DD3300 and all other PowerEdge Data Domain systems are bundled into DDOS software release packages.
No component level FW upgrades (such as BIOS, Disk, iDRAC, Network) are to be applied to these systems independent of a DDOS upgrade unless explicitly recommended by Data Domain Engineering.
DD Engineering monitors updated FW versions of the underlying Dell Server platform and qualifies them before including them in future DDOS releases.
If a security vulnerability has been identified on FW, contact your Support Provider for assistance.
