Instructions

Certain logs are required when troubleshooting issues related to NetWorker backup, restore, or clone operations with CloudBoost Appliance:

On the CloudBoost appliance, set the Debug level of running nsrexecd, nsrsnmd and nsrmmd to 2:

dbgcommand -p `pid of nsrexecd` Debug=2 PrintDevInfo

dbgcommand -p `pidof nsrsnmd` Debug=2 PrintDevInfo

dbgcommand -p `pidof nsrmmd` Debug=2 PrintDevInfo

Setting the Debug level 2 to nsrsnmd, sets the Debug level 2 to newly spawned nsrmmd child processes (but not existing processes).

For additional debug level log for MagFS on client and CB appliance, run the following sequence on client and CB appliance:

nsr_shutdown

export CB_LOG_LEVEL=2

/etc/init.d/networker start

Reproduce the issue and collect all logs from the following CloudBoost Appliance locations:

daemon.raw
/nsr/logs/cloudboost
/nsr/cache/cloudboost
/var/log/rails/maginatics.log
