Symptoms

Il guasto o la rimozione di una scheda di I/O (ad esempio SAS, NIC, NVRAM, FC) comporta la perdita di comunicazione con la scheda interessata. 
La sostituzione a caldo dei dispositivi PCIe NON è supportata.

Nota: La sostituzione a caldo attiva un riavvio imprevisto del sistema.

Cause

Guasto o rimozione di un modulo di sistema (scheda I/O)

Resolution

Controllare e confermare lo stato della scheda interessata:

  • DDCLI (SSH) # sistema mostra hardware
    • Uno slot per schede guasto o rimosso viene segnalato come "(vuoto)" 
    • Esempio:
      sysadmin@DD# sys show hardware

      • Questo esempio mostra lo slot 7 come (vuoto) poiché la scheda in tale slot si è guastata.
    • Questo output può essere confrontato con AutoSupport per determinare la scheda mancante se tutti gli slot non sono popolati.

Se la scheda è stata rimossa accidentalmente:

  • Spegnere l'unità DD, DDCLI (SSH):  
    • # system poweroff
  • Reinstallare la scheda in base alle esigenze
  • Riaccendere il sistema

Se si sospetta che la scheda sia difettosa o guasta, contattare il fornitore di supporto per esaminare e organizzare una riparazione o una sostituzione.
