Symptoms

使用者嘗試執行下列命令，服務無法啟動。

service-control --start --all

service-control --start vmware-updatemgr

vmware-updatemgr

Cause

vmware-updatemgr 仍包含導致不相符問題的過時 vCenter 機器 SSL 憑證資訊。

Resolution

  1. 檢閱 vum 記錄： /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log
  2. 確認記錄是否顯示下列錯誤訊息： 
    The remote host certificate has these problemsVUM 記錄中的錯誤訊息螢幕擷取畫面
  3. 根據 VMware 文章更新憑證資訊 啟用 VMware vCenter Update Manager 服務 （2150895） 時更換 vCenter Server 憑證失敗，請在更新憑證前先拍攝 vCenter 快照。此超連結會帶您前往 Dell Technologies 以外的網站。 
  4. 適用於 vCenter 7.0.x 或更新版本：
    cd /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/ 
    執行 python 指令檔：
  5. refreshCerts-utility.py顯示 Python 指令檔重新整理的螢幕擷取畫面
  6. 開始 vmware-updatemgr 服務： 
# service-control --start vmware-updatemgr
