Symptoms
Severity: Critical (Red)
iDRAC event CPU9004 occurs and a Red alarm 'VXR500CPU9004' presents in vCenter portal.
iDRAC event CPU9004 occurs and a Red alarm 'VXR500CPU9004' presents in vCenter portal.
Cause
An issue is detected because CPUs are incorrectly installed in the sockets.
Resolution
Do the following and retry the operation:
- Power off the server and disconnect the input power.
- Make sure the CPU is correctly installed if the processor is removable.
- Connect the input power and power on the server.
- If the issue persists, Contact Technical Support.
