Symptoms

Warning NetWorker  x/x/x, x:xx:xx PM registration Conversion of Flexera License to XML License failed. Please contact the DELL Licensing Team to obtain a new XML License and update the licspec properties file. Refer to the Licensing Guide for details.

Cause

伺服器升級至 NetWorker 版本 19.13.x 後出現問題。

將 NetWorker 伺服器升級至版本 19.13.x 後，回報了與授權檔案相容性相關的錯誤。在 NetWorker 版本 19.13 及更新版本中，授權機制已更新為僅支援 .xml 授權檔案。此版本不再可識別或支援先前使用的 .lic 授權檔案。因此，嘗試在升級後使用 .lic 檔案 會導致服務初始化期間的授權錯誤或失敗。

Resolution

  1. 視作業系統而定，執行下列步驟：

若為 Linux 伺服器：

  1. 停止 NetWorker 服務： nsr_shutdown 或 systemctl stop networker
  2. 重新命名授權檔案自 /nsr/lic/dpa.lic 的輸出傳送至 /nsr/lic/dpa.xml
  3. 編輯 /nsr/lic/licspec.properties 檔，並添加以下條目：
license.technology=XML

license.path=/nsr/lic/dpa.xml
  1. 啟動 NetWorker 服務： systemctl start networker

若為 Windows 伺服器：
