Symptoms

vSAN 2노드 클러스터의 업그레이드가 실패하고 다음 오류 메시지가 표시됨 "Prechecking if the admission control is off for vSAN 2-Node cluster Upgrade failed."

Cause

vSphere HA에서 허용 제어 탭을 확인하면 허용 제어가 사용 안 함(꺼짐)으로 설정되지 않고 "호스트 페일오버 용량 정의" 드롭다운 아래에 다른 항목으로 설정되어 있음을 확인할 수 있습니다. (Cluster, Configure>, Services>, vSphere Availability, >> vSphere HA> 에서 Edit 클릭)

Resolution

  1. ClusterConfigure >>ServicesvSphere >Availability를 선택합니다. vSphere HA is Turned On 옆의 Edit를 클릭합니다.  
  2. 허용 제어를 선택한 다음 클러스터에 대한 사용자의 현재 허용 제어 설정을 기록합니다. 
  3. Define host failover capacity by를 Disabled로 설정합니다.
  4. 업그레이드를 다시 시도합니다. 
  5. 업그레이드가 완료되면 사용자의 원래 허용 제어 설정을 다시 활성화합니다.
