Dell Desktop with NVIDIA Discrete Graphics Card Encounters a Blue Screen Error

Dell desktop computer installed with an NVIDIA graphics card may encounter a blue screen error when booting to Windows.

BIOS Microcode update required to support NVIDIA graphics is the cause.

Updating to the following version of BIOS on the computer resolves the issue.

• For Dell Pro QBT1250, QBS1250, QBM1250, QCT1250, QCS1250, or QCM1250
  • BIOS revision 1.4.4 or later
• For Dell ECT1250, or ECS1250
  • BIOS revision 1.4.4 or later
• For Dell Pro Max FCM2250, FCS1250, or FCT2250
  • BIOS revision 1.4.1 or later
