Resumo:

  • Este artigo apresenta a função 'disk beacon' para sistemas DD3300; introduzido no DDOS 6.2.x.
  • O comando "disk beacon 1.n" é emitido (usando SSH/CLI) e resulta em um LED de identificação de disco piscando no disco correspondente.
  • A numeração de slots físicos (baseada em 0; 1.0) no DD3300 não corresponde à numeração de slots do DDOS, que começa em 1.1
  • Esse recurso ajuda na solução de problemas e na substituição de discos com defeito no DD3300. 


Aplica-se a:

  • DD3300 (>= DDOS 6.2.x)

Solução:

  • 12 discos frontais (1.1 -> 1.12) ou 1 disco traseiro (1.13) podem ser sinalizados.
    • 4 discos internos (1.15 -> 1.18) não são compatíveis com sinalização.
  • Sintaxe do comando DD-CLI: 
    • disk beacon 1.<slot number> OR <serial number>
  • Para parar a pressão Beacon: 
    • Ctrl + C

Exemplo: 

Para o slot de disco de beacon 1.7: 

# disk beacon 1.7

Para marcar um disco pelo número de série:

> Reúna o número de série do hardware físico usando o comando "disk show hardware detailed".

Weitere Informationen

Se um sinalizador de disco já estiver ativo em outro disco (de outra sessão SSH), o sistema solicitará a interrupção do beacon ativo, como visto aqui:

# disk beacon 1.13
A beacon command is already running on disk 1.7.
