VNX: Fel HC_DM_14505148557 och Fel HC_DM_14505148498

CE bytte ut DIMM-moduler på dataöverföraren och kommandot "setup_slot -init" misslyckades med ovanstående nas_checkup fel.

Blades : Check unique id
Error HC_DM_14505148498: * The uniqueid reported by the Blade server_3 does not match the /nas/server/slot_3/start file.

Action :  Escalate this issue through your support organization if needed. Provide this output in the escalation.

Blades : Check slic signature
Error HC_DM_14505148557: No SLIC signature in device file. grep slicsignature /nas/server/slot_3/device command failed with exit code 1.

Action :  Investigate by running the command manually. Escalate this issue through your support organization if needed and refer to EMC Knowledgebase number emc195492. Provide this output and the output from any commands that you ran for this procedure in the escalation.

Andra KBA:er kräver att du kör kommandot setup_slot -init för att rensa Slic-signaturfel. Jag upptäckte att följande process löste mitt problem, men det kan sluta med att du behöver gå igenom setup_slot -init-processen.

1. Granska filposten /nas/server/slot_x/start och undersök raden "uniqueid validate=".

2. Kör följande kommando för att avgöra vad uniqueid-posten ska vara:

3. Redigera filen /nas/server/slot_x/start med VI Editor och lägg till rätt värde på raden "uniqueid validate=". Du kan behöva lägga till inledande text "uniqueid validate=" också.

4. Undersök filposten /nas/server/slot_x/device och undersök raden "slicsignature validate". Om den här raden eller informationen saknas fortsätter du till nästa steg.

5. Granska kommandoutdata "/nasmcd/getreason -e" för att fastställa dataöverförarens Slic-koder.

6. Redigera filen /nas/server/slot_x/device med hjälp av VI Editor och lägg till rätt värde på raden "slicsignature validate=". Du kan behöva lägga till den inledande texten "slicsignature validate=" också.

7. Kör nas_checkup igen för att kontrollera att felen har åtgärdats. Du kan köra "nas_checkup -rerun" för att endast kontrollera tidigare fel eller fel.

Eskalera problemet via din tjänsteleverantör om det behövs och ange nas_checkup utdata i eskaleringen.
