Symptome



Performance of SourceOne Journaling activities can be slow due to blocking on the SQL server.  This results in a growing backlog of email in the journal mailbox.

In the exJBJournal.exe logs, you will see that the Journal job is waiting for dispatcher after making a SQL call.

In SQL Server Studio, use the SP_WHO2 command to identify the process causing the blocking.  See the following article for details on how to identify the blocking process using SP_WHO2:

Ursache

The slowness can be caused due to blockage in SQL since the delete command from the exasadmin process was blocking multiple tables generated by the archive delete initiated from the console.

Lösung

To prevent the conflict, update the disposition schedule to ensure it only runs during non-business hours.
