Symptome
Event Code VXR508STOR372 indicates: Unable to create the unmap-enabled Virtual Drive (VD) <Virtual Drive FQDD> because either the controller is not unmap-capable or the controller's unmap state is disabled.
Ursache
The unmap-enabled Virtual Drive (VD) identified in the message cannot be created because either the controller is not unmap-capable or the controllers unmap state is disabled.
Lösung
Verify that the controller supports the unmap feature and the controller unmap state is enabled.
To check, run the following RACADM command at the Command-Line Interface (CLI):
racadm storage get controllers -o -p UnmapSupport,UnmapState
