PowerFlex 4.x: Instalace fluxtoolkit selže

Zařízení PowerFlex 16G s bitovou kopií RHEL zákazníka pro uzly MVM (PFMP) – RHEL 8.10.

Instalace PFMP selže ve druhé fázi při 74 %.

bedrock.log zobrazuje následující chybu:

Důsledky 

Nelze nasadit PFMP.

Upravte hodnoty UMASK na všech třech uzlech MVM (PFMP). PowerFlex Jak změnit hodnoty umask na hostitelích PFMP pro výchozí oprávnění

Chcete-li změnit UMASK na 0022:

1. Aktualizace hodnoty UMASK

vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.

2. Načtěte konfiguraci:

source /etc/profile

3. Ukončete shell a znovu se přihlaste.

Je aktualizována nejnovější konfigurace. #Testování: Pokud vytvoříte jakýkoli nový soubor, bude vytvořen s oprávněními 644.
 

Po úpravě hodnot:

• Resetujte instalační program PFMP

/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh

• Nastavení instalačního programu PFMP

/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh

• Zahájení instalace PFMP

/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh

V informacích o vydání Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x je uvedeno následující (str. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
