Symptome

Um equipamento PowerFlex 16G com a imagem RHEL do cliente para os nós MVM (PFMP) - RHEL 8.10.

 

A instalação da PFMP falha no segundo estágio em 74%.

bedrock.log mostra o seguinte erro:

Não é possível implementar a PFMP.

O CMO requer UMASK 022 para a configuração adequada dos gráficos Helm. UMASK 027 fornece root com permissões rwx, o grupo com permissões r-x e sem permissões para outros.

Lösung

Modifique os valores UMASK em todos os três nós MVM (PFMP). PowerFlex: como alterar os valores de umask em hosts PFMP para obter permissão padrão

Para alterar UMASK para 0022:

  1. Atualizar o valor UMASK 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. Carregue a configuração:
source /etc/profile
  1. Sair do shell e fazer login novamente

A configuração mais recente é atualizada. #Testes: Se você criar um novo arquivo, ele será criado com 644 permissões.
 

Depois que os valores forem modificados:

  • Redefinir o instalador da PFMP
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • Configurar o instalador da PFMP
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • Inicie a instalação da PFMP
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


As notas da versão do Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x declaram o seguinte (pág. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
