Symptoms



Durante l'esecuzione degli aggiornamenti del firmware del nodo, gli aggiornamenti rilevano un errore su un nodo.

Utilizzando isi_upgrade_logs per raccogliere gli errori di aggiornamento, viene visualizzato il seguente messaggio di errore: 
Starting /usr/sbin/isi_Upgrade_Agent.py InstallFirmware

2018-10-10 10:10:10,101 DEBUG Execute Command: InstallFirmware
2018-10-10 10:10:10,101 ERROR Exception for InstallFirmware command: [Errno 54] RPC session disconnected.

Resolution

Eseguire un nuovo tentativo dell'ultima azione sul nodo in cui si è verificato l'errore eseguendo il comando seguente sostituendo LNN con il numero del nodo: 
isi upgrade cluster retry-last-action LNN

After performing a retry, wait for a few minutes for the firmware updates to resume, if the error message returns a second time, escalation to Isilon support for further investigation.
