You may experience a situation where the cooling fan is louder than expected on your G3 15 3590.
To help resolve the issue, perform the following steps.

- Bookmark this article as a restart of your computer will be need during the procedure.
- The following steps are based on using the Chrome browser.
- Save any data and close all programs.
- Browse to the Dell G3 15 3590 Driver Page.
- Using the drop down menu under Category:, select Systems Management.
- Touch or click Download to the right of Dell Power Manager Service (do not close the browser window, as you also need to update the BIOS on your computer).
- Once the Dell Power Manager Service is downloaded, touch or click the file listed at the bottom of the screen to start the installation process, and follow the prompts.
- Once the Dell Power Manager Service is installed, on the Dell G3 15 3590 driver page, use the drop down menu under Category:, select BIOS.
- Touch or click Download to the right of the latest BIOS listed for your computer.
- Once the BIOS is downloaded, touch or click the file listed at the bottom of the screen to start the installation process, and follow the prompts (the computer will restart during this process).
- Once the computer restarts, press and hold the Windows () key, and then press the q key.
- In the Search box type Dell Power Manager.
- In the search results list, touch or click Dell Power Manager (App).
- Touch or click the Thermal Management tab.
- Select Balanced or Quiet mode to lower the amount of fan noise from the computer.
