Symptoms

One or both of the following scenarios may occur when using conference applications, such as Teams and Zoom.

  1. When Person 2 tries to speak while Person 1 is talking, Person 2's voice cannot be heard during the meeting.
  2. When multiple people speak simultaneously, Person 2's voice cannot be heard during the meeting.
Note: Person 2 is using one of the affected products.

Cause

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver is the cause.

Resolution

Updating to Realtek High Definition Audio driver version 6.0.9794.1, A09 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the driver, refer to How to Download and Install Dell Drivers and Firmware.
