1. Why should I update my Server's firmware?

In order to ensure system reliability and overall performance, it’s important to keep firmware up to date on your PowerEdge server. Typically, firmware is made available to improve performance / stability or increase the number of features on your system; however, in some cases, firmware may fix critical issues before they cause downtime in your environment.
