Avamar Virtual Machine Client Delete Failed msg "Cannot Find the VM from VC Cache"

Symptoms

A Virtual Machine (VM) client on Avamar cannot be deleted or retired if the vCenter could not provide its Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) during creation:

Cause

A vCenter may "autoadd" a VM without a UUID.

The root cause is unknown.

Resolution

Customers: Create a Service Request referencing the summary information above.
