How to Enable System Tray Icon When Dell Data Protection Console is not Open

Dell Data Protection's Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise when installed without Dell Data Protection Encryption has a notification tray icon that by default, only displays when the Dell Data Protection Console has been launched.

- Editing the Registry can cause the computer to become unresponsive on the next reboot.

To enable this icon to load in the notification tray and persist when the Dell Data Protection Console is not open, create this registry key:
HKCU\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection DWORD: EnableTrayIcon Value: 0 or 1 0 is no persistent tray icon for that user 1 is a persistent tray icon for that user.
This is also editable using the right-click menu on the notification tray icon.
