Symptoms
The following error is displayed while deploying a Open Virtualization Format (OVF) template from a web browser (vSphere Web client): 
Cause
This problem is caused by a certificate that the web browser does not trust.
Resolution
Procedure:
- Install an appropriate web browser Plug-in.
- Install an appropriate plug-in to the web browser that is used to access to vSphere web client if it is not installed it yet.
VxRail 4.0: Client Integration Plug-in
VxRail 4.5: Enhanced Authentication Plug-in
- Access using vSphere web client with vCSA FQDN (not with its IP Address).
- Try to deploy the OVF.
Check the following VMware KBs when installing Plug-ins on the web browser. There are some restrictions:
- Client Integration Plug-in fails to load in Chrome Browser version 58+ (2150369) https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2150369
- vSphere Web Client Integration Plug-in fails in Google Chrome 45 or later (2130672 )

- Install a certification file into the Operating System (OS) (some web browsers use the certification that is installed in the OS).
- Get a certification file and install to the PC according to VMware KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2108294

- Close all the web browsers and re-launch it.
- Access to vSphere web client with vCSA FQDN (not with its IP address).
- Try to the deploy OVF.
- Get a certification file and install to the PC according to VMware KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2108294
- Install the certification file into the web browser.
- Google Chrome:
- Access to vSphere Web Client.
- Click [Not secure] on the left of URL input field.
- Click [Certificate(Invalid)] and confirm the new window of Certificate.
- Choose [Details] tab and click [Copy to File...].
- Export certification as any file name to any location according to the wizard.
- Double click the certification file exported and choose [Install Certificate...].
- Choose the option [Place all certificates in the following store] and select [Browse] at Certification Store in Certificate Import Wizard.
- Select [Trusted Root Certification Authorities] and click OK.
- Click Finish on Completing the Certificate Import Wizard.
- Internet Explorer:
- Access to vSphere web client.
- Click [Certificate Error] on the right of URL input field.
- Click [View certificates] and confirm the new window of Certificate.
- Choose [Details] tab and click [Copy to File...].
- Export certification as any file name to any location according to the wizard.
- Double click the certification file exported and choose [Install Certificate...].
- Choose the option [Place all certificates in the following store] and select [Browse] at Certification Store in Certificate Import Wizard.
- Select [Trusted Root Certification Authorities] and click OK.
- Click Finish on Completing the Certificate Import Wizard.
- Mozilla Firefox:
- Access to vSphere web client.
- Click Key icon on the left of URL input field.
- Click [Connection] and [More Information].
- Choose [Security] tab and click [View Certificate].
- Select [Details] tab and click [Export] to export the certification as any file name to any location.
- Select [Options] in the web browser and choose [Privacy & Security].
- Click [View Certificates...] and [Import...] on the Authorities tab.
- Select Certificate you exported in Step 5.
- Google Chrome:
- Close all the web browser and re-launch it.
- Access to vSphere web client with vCSA FQDN (not with its IP address).
- Try to the deploy OVF.

If OVF cannot be deployed, try using another tool:
